Description Flow Tech Australia exists to serve Australia’s naval defence capabilities. Initially established in 2008 as a specialist contractor for the repair, manufacture and maintenance of specialised systems for Royal Australian Navy, Flow Tech is primarily supported by Thales, BAE and NSM in all contracted work. Flow Tech employs over 30 personnel and contractors across three facilities in New South Wales, Western Australia and the Northern Territory. Flow Tech’s production workforce consists of highly trained and skilled tradespeople, equipped with the knowledge and skills to refurbish, install, maintain and commission a wide variety of equipment systems and fittings for surface and underwater platforms. Flow Tech specialises in fabrication and pipe manufacture using a wide range of materials and has conducted major refits and system upgrades on various class surface ships - LHD’s, AWD’s, Armidale Class, Anzac Class. Our Lloyds Certified welders ensure that our workmanship and quality processes are of the highest standards. We specialise in coating systems to ensure the serviceability of marine equipment. Metaline Coating is a highly specialised product that eliminates corrosion, erosion and deterioration of pipe work and mechanical equipment in harsh environments. Flow Tech is the certified Defence installer for Swagelok. Flow Tech is Lloyds Certified for maintenance of fixed fire fighting systems. We also provide chemical cleaning of marine pipe systems. Using state of the art CNC equipment, our workshop facilities ensure that we can minimise the repair/ manufacture time of products and specialised equipment.
