Protecting life and assets The Roxtec sealing system protects against fire, gas, water, dust, blast, pests, pressure and temperature changes. It also reduces noise, vibration and material fatigue, and exists in versions for EMC, hazardous locations (Ex) and bonding, grounding and lightning protection. The system is certified by all major classification authorities. Roxtec products have over 250 certificates, including IECEx/ATEX and MED, as well as more than 500 registered tests and approvals. The seals are used worldwide to ensure safety, efficiency and operational reliability. They are also appreciated for the clean installation process, the area efficiency and the adaptability to a wide range of cables, metal pipes and plastic pipes. The ability to open up the seals to add cables or make quick changes simplifies maintenance and retrofit. Prepared for the future The system is designed for cost-efficiency, from the design and building phase through to maintenance. Standardized Roxtec kits are supplied with rectangular or round frames, separate or integrated compression units, and rubber modules or bodies. There are also round seals suitable for metal pipes or plastic pipes. The flexibility makes it easy to seal multiple cables and pipes in very few openings. The seals allow pre- terminated cables and provide built-in spare capacity. Users can stay competitive and deal with new needs and regulations, since it is possible to add cables and pipes and extend the service life of projects - without adding material costs.
